It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubaydullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that a woman—whose name was Ghumaisa or Rumaisa—came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a complaint about her husband. She said that her husband did not have the ability to approach her. After a short while, her husband also arrived. He thought that his wife was lying; in reality, she wanted to remarry her first husband. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed the woman and said: "It is not permissible for you to do so until your honey is tasted by another man besides him (the first husband)."
