Hadith 18272

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ الطَّائِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Save yourselves from the fire of Hell, even if it be by giving only a piece of a date."
