It is narrated from Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate food, and after that the prayer was established. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had already performed ablution, so he stood up. I brought water for ablution to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rebuked me and said, "Step back! By Allah! Mughirah is greatly troubled by your rebuke; he fears that perhaps there is some burden in your heart regarding him?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "There is nothing in my heart regarding him except goodness. However, he brought water for ablution to me while I had only eaten food. If I had performed ablution, then after me people would also start doing the same."
