Hadith 18208

حَدَّثَنَا وكيعٌ ، حدثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ " سَبِّ الْأَمْوَاتِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade speaking ill of the dead.
