Hazrat Amir Muawiya (may Allah be pleased with him) once wrote a letter to Hazrat Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him) asking him to write and send something that he had heard from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) directly, with no narrator between him and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). In reply, he wrote: I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that Allah dislikes three things for you: idle talk, excessive questioning, and wasting wealth. And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has declared it forbidden for you to bury daughters alive, to disobey mothers, to withhold wealth, and to extend the hand of begging.
