حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ ، وَكَانَ إِذَا ذَهَبَ ، أَبْعَدَ فِي الْمَذْهَبِ ، فَذَهَبَ لِحَاجَتِهِ ، وَقَالَ : " يَا مُغِيرَةُ اتْبَعْنِي بِمَاءٍ " فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from al-Mughira ibn Shu'bah, who said: I was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on one of his journeys, and when he went, he would go far in his going, so he went to relieve himself, and he said: "O Mughira, follow me with water," and he mentioned the hadith.
