قال عبد الله بن أحمد : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ : لَيْسَ حَدِيثٌ أَشَدَّ عَلَى الْجَهْمِيَّةِ مِنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَوْلِهِ : " لَا شَخْصَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِدْحَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ".
Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: 'Ubaydullah al-Qawariri narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, with his chain, the same exactly. Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: 'Ubaydullah al-Qawariri said: There is no hadith more severe upon the Jahmiyyah than this hadith, his saying: "There is no person more beloved to Him for praise than Allah, Mighty and Majestic."
