Hadith 18167

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : مَا سَأَلَ أَحَدٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الدَّجَّالِ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْهُ ، فَقَالَ لِي : " أَيْ بُنَيَّ ، وَمَا يُنْصِبُكَ مِنْهُ ؟ إِنَّهُ لَنْ يَضُرَّكَ " . قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّهُمْ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ مَعَهُ جِبَالَ الْخُبْزِ وَأَنْهَارَ الْمَاءِ ! فَقَالَ : " هُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ ذَاكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Mughira (may Allah be pleased with him) that regarding the Dajjal, as frequently as I have asked questions from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), no one else has asked. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once said: "He will not be able to harm you in any way." I submitted, "People say that he will have a river with him and such and such things as well." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is far more insignificant than that in the sight of Allah."
