Hadith 18163

Ziyad bin Alaqah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) led us in prayer. After leading two rak’ahs, he did not sit but stood up. The followers said “Subhan Allah,” but he gestured for them to stand up. When the prayer was finished, he said salam and performed two prostrations of forgetfulness (sujood as-sahw) and said that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do the same with us.
