Hadith 18161

قال عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَاه مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، فَذَكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ . قَالَ مُصْعَبٌ : وَأَخْطَأَ فِيهِ مَالِكٌ خَطَأً قَبِيحًا.
Abdullah said, Mus'ab ibn Abdullah al-Zubayri narrated to us, he said: Malik ibn Anas narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, from 'Abbad ibn Ziyad from the descendants of al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba, and he mentioned this hadith. Mus'ab said: And Malik made a grave mistake in it.
