It is narrated from Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) relieved himself, then I brought a vessel of water. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to roll up his sleeves with his arms, but the sleeves of the Syrian cloak which the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing were tight, so they could not be rolled up. Therefore, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took both hands out from underneath, performed ablution, and wiped over the leather socks.
