حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَمْسَحُ عَلَى ظُهُورِ الْخُفَّيْن " . قال عبد الله : قال أبي : حَدَّثَنَاه سُرَيْجٌ ، والْهَاشِمِيُّ أَيْضًا.
It is narrated from Hazrat Mughira (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wiping over his leather socks. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
