قال عبد الله بن أحمد : وجدت في كتاب أبي بخط يده : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : " قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْهُذَلِيَّتَيْنِ أَنَّ الْعَقْلَ عَلَى الْعَصَبَةِ ، وَأَنَّ الْمِيرَاثَ لِلْوَرَثَةِ ، وَأَنَّ فِي الْجَنِينِ غُرَّةً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the verdict of blood money upon the male relatives of the killer in the case of two women from Banu Huzail, and inheritance for the heirs, and for the loss of the child in her womb, he gave the verdict of a male or female slave.
