Hadith 18086

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ خَارِجَةَ الْخُشَنِيَّ حَدَّثَهُمْ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَهُمْ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ ، وَإِنَّ رَاحِلَتَهُ لَتَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا ، وَإِنَّ لُعَابَهَا يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ قَسَمَ لِكُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ نَصِيبَهُ مِنَ الْمِيرَاثِ ، فَلَا تَجُوزُ وَصِيَّةٌ لِوَارِثٍ ، الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ ، وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ ، أَلَا وَمَنْ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ ، أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ ، فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ ، لَا يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا . أَوْ عَدْلًا وَلَا صَرْفًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Khariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that (in the plain of Mina) the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon while sitting on his camel (which was chewing cud and its saliva was flowing between my two shoulders) and said: "Be aware, charity is not lawful for me and my family. Then, taking a hair from the shoulder of his camel, he said: Not even equal to this. Upon such a person is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people who attributes himself to anyone other than his father, or who, leaving his master, forms allegiance with someone else. None of his obligatory or voluntary acts will be accepted. The child belongs to the (owner of the) bed, and for the adulterer is the stone. Allah Almighty has given every rightful person his right, therefore, no bequest can be made in favor of an heir."
