Musnad Ahmad

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) that I set out with the intention of Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out of the toilet, so I followed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) carrying a water vessel and sat down on the way. It was the blessed habit of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he used to go far away to relieve himself. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned, I said, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) Water for ablution is present." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came, poured water over his hands and washed them, then put his hands in the vessel and poured water, and wiped his head. Then he took a handful of water in his hand, poured it on the back of his foot, and rubbed it with his hand. Then he came and led us in the Zuhr prayer.
