Hadith 18073

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ . وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ مُحَيْرِيزٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ أُنَاسًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَشْرَبُونَ الْخَمْرَ يُسَمُّونَهَا بِغَيْرِ اسْمِهَا " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Some people from my Ummah will drink alcohol, calling it by another name.
