It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Kabsha Anmari (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Tabuk, some people began to hastily enter the ruins of the people of Thamud. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed of this, he had a caller announce that the prayer is ready. Abu Kabsha (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I entered in the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and he was holding his camel and saying: Why do you enter upon a people upon whom Allah's wrath was sent down? A man said, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we are amazed at them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not tell you something even more astonishing than this? A man from among yourselves informs you of past and future events. Therefore, remain steadfast and choose the straight path, for Allah will have no concern if you are afflicted with punishment. And soon there will come a people who will not be able to defend themselves by any means. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
