حَدِيثُ وَابِصَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ نَزَلَ الرَّقَّةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُHadith of Wabisah ibn Ma'bad al-Asadi who settled in al-Raqqah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18002

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، قَالَ : أَقَامَنِي عَلَى وَابِصَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ ، فقال : حَدَّثَنِي هَذَا أَنَّه صَلَّى خَلْفَ الصَّفِّ وَحْدَهُ ، " فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُعِيدَ صَلَاتَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Wabisa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man standing alone in the last row and performing prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to repeat the prayer.
