Hadith 17953

It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him) that we set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the expedition of Tabuk. On the way, my laborer (hired worker) got into a fight with another man. That man took his hand in his mouth and bit it. When he pulled his hand away, the other man's tooth broke and fell out. He came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rejected his claim and said, "Would he have left his hand in your mouth so that you could keep chewing it like a bull?" The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
