حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَن الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَن أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ ، عَن مُطَرِّفٍ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ , فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.
Yunus narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from Abu al-‘Ala’, from Mutarrif, who said: I entered upon ‘Uthman ibn Abi al-‘As, and he mentioned its meaning.
