Hadith 17868

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطِيعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ : " لَا يُقْتَلُ قُرَشِيٌّ صَبْرًا بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muti’ bin Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of the conquest of Makkah: After today, no permission will be given to kill any Quraishi in a state of oppression.
