حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَبِيلٍ ، عَن مَالِكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعاصِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَفِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَرَ قَالَ مَالِكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ : عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّهُ اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْ سَبْعِ مَوْتَاتٍ : مَوْتِ الْفَجْأَةِ ، وَمِنْ لَدْغِ الْحَيَّةِ ، وَمِنْ السَّبُعِ ، وَمِنْ الْغَرَقِ ، وَمِنْ الْحَرْقِ ، وَمِنْ أَنْ يَخِرَّ عَلَى شَيْءٍ أَوْ يَخِرَّ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ ، وَمِنْ الْقَتْلِ عِنْدَ فِرَارِ الزَّحْفِ " .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sought refuge from seven types of death: sudden death, death by snake bite, death by attack of a wild animal, death by drowning, death by burning, death by falling onto something, death by something falling, and death while fleeing from the battlefield.
