Hadith 17791

And I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that there are two men from my Ummah, one of whom wakes up at night and prepares himself for ablution. At that time, there are some knots tied upon him. So when he performs ablution, as he washes his hands, one knot is untied; when he washes his face, another knot is untied; when he wipes his head, another knot is untied; and when he washes his feet, another knot is untied. And Allah, the Exalted, says to those who are unseen: "Look at My servant who has struggled against his own self. Whatever My servant asks of Me, he will be granted."
