حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ " أَبْصَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiping over his leather socks.
