حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ : عَبْدُ الله وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ ظَلَمَ شِبْرًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ ، كَلَّفَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ يَحْفِرَهُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ آخِرَ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ ، ثُمَّ يُطَوَّقُهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يُقْضَى بَيْنَ النَّاسِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever unjustly takes even a span of land, on the Day of Resurrection he will be forced to dig it down to the seventh earth, then it will be made into a collar and placed around his neck until judgment is passed among the people.
