Hadith 1755

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ كَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ ، وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ " .
Ibn Abi Rafi’ (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja’far (may Allah be pleased with him) used to wear a ring on his right hand, and according to him, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also used to wear a ring on his right hand.
