(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا جَاءَ نَعْيُ جَعْفَرٍ حِينَ قُتِلَ ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اصْنَعُوا لِآلِ جَعْفَرٍ طَعَامًا ، فَقَدْ أَتَاهُمْ أَمْرٌ يَشْغَلُهُمْ أَوْ أَتَاهُمْ مَا يَشْغَلُهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the news of the martyrdom of Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) came, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Prepare food for the family of Ja'far, for such news has reached them that they are not conscious of any work."
