حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أخْبَرَنَا بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى صَلَاةً غَيْرَ سَاهٍ وَلَا لَاهٍ ، كُفِّرَ عَنْهُ مَا كَانَ قَبْلَهَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whoever performs ablution and does it well, then offers prayer in such a way that he neither forgets nor is heedless in it, all his past sins will be forgiven.
