Hadith 17441

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْمَعَافِرِيُّ ، عَمَّنْ ، سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ ، يَقُولُ : بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاعِيًا ، فَاسْتَأْذَنْتُهُ أَنْ آكُلَ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ ، فَأَذِنَ لِي .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent me to collect Zakat. I asked for permission to eat from the animals of Zakat, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) granted me permission.
