Hadith 17435

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِشْرَحُ بْنُ هَاعَانَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، أُجْرِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever guards the Islamic borders in the way of Allah, reward will continuously be written in his record of deeds.
