حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلَمْ تَرَ آيَاتٍ أُنْزِلْنَ اللَّيْلَةَ لَمْ يُرَ أَوْ لَا يُرَى مِثْلَهُنَّ الْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Two surahs have been revealed to me, the like of which there are no other surahs; by this, he meant Al-Mu'awwidhatayn.
