Hadith 17355

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ آيَاتٌ لَمْ أَرَ مِثْلَهُنَّ : الْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ " ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَهُمَا .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Two such surahs have been revealed to me that there are no surahs like them. The reference is to Al-Mu'awwidhatayn.
