حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَائِذٍ ، رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ ، قَالَ : انْطَلَقَ عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى ، لِيُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ ، فَاتَّبَعَهُ نَاسٌ ، فَقَالَ : مَا جَاءَ بِكُمْ ؟ قَالُوا : صُحْبَتُكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَحْبَبْنَا أَنْ نَسِيرَ مَعَكَ وَنُسَلِّمَ عَلَيْكَ ، قَالَ : انْزِلُوا فَصَلُّوا ، فَنَزَلُوا فَصَلَّى وَصَلَّوْا مَعَهُ ، فَقَالَ حِينَ سَلَّمَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَيْسَ مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا ، لَمْ يَتَنَدَّ بِدَمٍ حَرَامٍ ، إِلَّا دَخَلَ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ شَاءَ " .
Abdur Rahman bin Aaidh, may Allah have mercy on him, says that once Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir, may Allah be pleased with him, set out to pray in Masjid Aqsa. Some people followed behind him. Hazrat Uqbah, may Allah be pleased with him, asked them the reason for accompanying him. They replied that since you had the honor of being in the company of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, we want to walk with you and have come to greet you. Hazrat Uqbah, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "Stop here and pray." So everyone stopped and prayed. After finishing the prayer, he said, "I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever meets Allah in such a state that he does not associate anyone with Him and has not stained his hands with anyone's blood, he will be permitted to enter Paradise through whichever door he wishes."
