Hadith 17336

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ عُلِّمَ الرَّمْيَ ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ بَعْدَمَا عُلِّمَهُ ، فَهِيَ نِعْمَةٌ كَفَرَهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever learns the art of archery and then forgets it, he has shown ingratitude to the one who taught him that blessing.
