Hadith 17303

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ آيَاتٌ لَمْ يُرَ مِثْلُهُنَّ : قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ سورة الناس آية 1 إِلَى آخِرِ السُّورَةِ ، و قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ سورة الفلق آية 1 إِلَى آخِرِ السُّورَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Two such Surahs have been revealed to me, the like of which there is no other Surah; by this he meant the Mu'awwidhatayn.
