Hadith 17285

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " الْعَامِلُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ ، كَالْغَازِي فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: The one who collects zakat with justice for the sake of Allah is like the person who fights in the way of Allah, until he returns to his home.
