حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نُسَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ انْتَسَبَ إِلَى تِسْعَةِ آبَاءٍ كُفَّارٍ يُرِيدُ بِهِمْ عِزًّا وَكَرَمًا ، فَهُوَ عَاشِرُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Rayhanah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever takes pride in his honor and nobility by attributing himself to his nine disbelieving forefathers, he will enter Hell as the tenth individual along with them."
