حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ الْكِنْدِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيْعَةً فَإِلَيَّ ، وَأَنَا وَلِيُّ مَنْ لَا وَلِيَّ لَهُ ، أَفُكُّ عَنه ، وَأَرِثُ مَالَهُ ، وَالْخَالُ وَلِيُّ مَنْ لَا وَلِيَّ لَهُ ، يَفُكُّ عَنْهُ ، وَيَرِثُ مَالَهُ " . .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever dies leaving a debt, he is under the responsibility of Allah and His Messenger, and whoever dies leaving wealth, it will be for his heirs. And the maternal uncle is the heir of the one who has no heir, and I am the heir of the one who has no heir; I am his heir and I will pay his blood money on his behalf."
