حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكِنْدِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْمِقْدَامَ بْنَ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْإِنْسِيَّةِ ، وَعَنْ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Miqdam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade eating the meat of domesticated donkeys and every predatory animal that hunts with its fangs.
