حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ الْكِنْدِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُوصِيكُمْ بِأُمَّهَاتِكُمْ ، إَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُوصِكُمْ بِأُمَّهَاتِكُمْ ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُوصِيكُمْ بِآبَائِكُمْ ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُوصِيكُمْ بِالْأَقْرَبِ فَالْأَقْرَبِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Allah enjoins you to treat your mothers well, your fathers well, and, in order of closeness, your relatives well."
