حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُوصِيكُمْ بِالْأَقْرَبِ فَالْأَقْرَبِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Allah Almighty enjoins you to treat your close relatives with kindness, step by step according to their degree of closeness."
