Hadith 17085

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was a man among the Ansar whose name was Abu Shu’aib. He had a slave who was a butcher. He said to his slave, “Cook some food for me one day so that I may invite the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who will be one of five people.” So he invited the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) a sixth man came. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached his house, he said, “This man has come with us. Do you permit him as well?” He gave permission.
