It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, “My travel provisions and mount have run out, so please provide me with a mount.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “At this moment, I do not have any animal on which I can mount you, but go to such-and-such person.” He went to that person, and he gave him a mount. That man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him of this. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever guides someone to goodness, he will have a reward like that of the one who does it.”
