Khunash San'ani says that we fought jihad with Hazrat Ruwaifi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) against the people of a town called Jarbah near Maghrib. Then he stood up to deliver a sermon and said: O people! I say to you the same thing that I heard from the Prophet (peace be upon him). On the occasion of the conquest of Hunayn, the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon and said: "It is not lawful for any man who believes in Allah and the Last Day to irrigate another man's field (wife) with his own water. The spoils of war should not be bought or sold before distribution. No one should wear any cloth from the spoils of the Muslims in such a way that when it becomes old, he returns it there. And no one should ride any mount from the spoils of the Muslims in such a way that when it becomes weak, he returns it there."
