حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، مِنْ كِتَابِهِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ شِيَيْمِ بْنِ بَيْتَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ رُوَيْفِعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ غَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ أَحَدُنَا يَأْخُذُ النَّاقَةَ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِمَّا يَغْنَمُ ، حَتَّى إِنَّ لِأَحَدِنَا الْقِدْحَ ، وَلِلْآخَرِ النَّصْلَ وَالرِّيشَ
It is narrated from Hazrat Ruwaifi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that he had the honor of participating in jihad with the Prophet (peace be upon him). Among us, a person would take a she-camel from another on the condition that he would give half of his share from the spoils of war to the owner of the she-camel, until among us, some only had a saddle and some had fruit and its covering.
