حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الرَّحَبِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ غَابِرٍ الْأَلْهَانِيَّ ، قَالَ : دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ حَابِسُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الطَّائِيُّ مِنَ السَّحَرِ وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَرَأَى النَّاسَ يُصَلُّونَ فِي مُقَدَّمِ الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَقَالَ : مُرَاءونَ وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ ، أَرْعِبُوهُمْ ، فَمَنْ أَرْعَبَهُمْ ، فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ، فَأَتَاهُمْ النَّاسُ ، فَأَخْرَجُوهُمْ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُصَلِّي مِنَ السَّحَرِ فِي مُقَدَّمِ الْمَسْجِدِ "
Abdullah bin Aamir narrates that once at the time of suhoor, Sayyiduna Habas bin Sa’d Tai (may Allah be pleased with him) entered the mosque. He had met the Prophet (peace be upon him). He saw that some people were praying in the back part of the mosque. He said: "By the Lord of the Ka’bah! All of these are show-offs. Drive them out. Whoever drives them out will have obeyed Allah and His Messenger." So the people came and drove them out. Then he said that at the time of suhoor, the angels pray in the front part of the mosque.
