Urwah narrates that once Sayyiduna Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him) went out and began to beat those who were performing two rak'ahs after the Asr prayer. Meanwhile, he passed by Sayyiduna Tamim Dari (may Allah be pleased with him), who said, "I will not leave these two rak'ahs, because I have performed these two rak'ahs with the One who was better than you (the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him)." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "If the condition of the rest of the people was like yours, I would not care."
