حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّمَا الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ ، إِنَّمَا الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ " ، قِيلَ : لِمَنْ ؟ قَالَ : " لِلَّهِ ، وَلِرَسُولِهِ ، وَلِكِتَابِهِ ، وَلِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ، وَعَامَّتِهِمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Tamim Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The religion is entirely sincere advice." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: O Messenger of Allah! For whom? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "For Allah, for His Book, for His Messenger, for the leaders of the Muslims, and for the common Muslims."
