حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الدِّينَ النَّصِيحَةُ ، إِنَّمَا الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ " ، قَالُوا : لِمَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " لِلَّهِ ، وَلِكِتَابِهِ ، وَلِرَسُولِهِ ، وَلِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ، وَعَامَّتِهِمْ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Tamim Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The religion is entirely sincere advice." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: O Messenger of Allah! For whom? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For Allah, for His Book, for His Messenger, for the leaders of the Muslims, and for the common Muslims."
