حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُثْمَانَ الرَّحَبِيَّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا رَاشِدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْمَقْرَائِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيٍّ ، عَنْ ذِي مِخْمَرٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ فِي حِمْيَرَ ، فَنَزَعَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْهُمْ ، فَجَعَلَهُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ وَسَيَعُودُ إِلَيْهِمْ " وَكَذَا كَانَ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي مُقَطَّعٌ ، وَحَيْثُ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ تَكَلَّمَ عَلَى الِاسْتِوَاءِ
It is narrated from Hazrat Dhu Makhmar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "At first, rulership was with the tribe of Himyar, then Allah took it from them and placed it among the Quraysh, and soon it will return to them again."
